A National Historic Landmark, Lakewold’s Georgian-style mansion and historic architecture complete the tranquil 10 acres where visitors can step back in time to an elegant past or enjoy a relaxing moment to contemplate the future on a self-guided or docent tour.

Enjoy the scents, the visuals and the vistas year-round at this Lakewood treasure.

A leisurely self-guided stroll throughout the grounds takes approximately 90 minutes. If you are interested in a guided tour, please contact the Group Tour Coordinator for available dates.

Services

Food service is not available, but picnicking is welcomed. Pets, except accredited service animals, are not permitted in the gardens.

“As we become more and more city creatures, living in man-made surroundings, perhaps gardens will become even more precious to us, letting us remember that we began in the garden.” ~ Eulalie Wagner
