When was the last time you spied a massive moose?

Waved at a herd of bison? Turned the corner to see a majestic elk at the edge of a lake? Northwest Trek is home to more than 200 North American animals representing more than 30 species.

On a Discovery Tram Tour, you’ll enjoy a comfortable ride through 435 acres of stunning meadows and forests. You’ll get eye-to-eye with fascinating animals as they explore their natural habitat narrated by a friendly naturalist.

Every season offers something new: baby animals in spring and summer, elk bugling in the fall, and animals in thick woolly coats in winter. Each tour is different!

Walk along a paved path through the forest and see large predators like bears, wolves, cougars and other native forest animals, all in naturalistic exhibits. Then, observe smaller wetlands and forest creatures like beavers and wolverines swimming in their pools and keeping cozy in their dens.

Slide! Climb! Splash! Balance! Explore! At Kids’ Trek
