The Lakewood Chamber has posted several articles, notices and official policy in regards to the COVID-19 crisis since it began last year March 2020.
While many of those articles are still available in our archives, it is a good idea to update you on the resources that you can read online concerning the pandemic, current policy, especially in our state, and what the future holds. The official news sources linked below will help guide you concerning business policies, social distancing policies, testing information and vaccinations.
While we are not out of the woods yet so to speak, it is clear that progress is being made with wide spread testing and vaccinations throughout our community for high risk individuals, frontline workers and more.
Keep in mind: Businesses throughout our community have been hit hard by this pandemic. It has affected not only the owners of these businesses, but the vendors who supply the good to these businesses and workers who have been serving our community that are employed by those business owners. Your understandings of the current policies set by the local ordinances as well as city and state guidelines helps everyone as we move into the next phase.
The good news is that many services, restaurants and businesses in our community and elsewhere are gaining some ground and are open for business. While several businesses may not be operating at full capacity, guidelines have updated enough that some normalcy can be seen on the horizon. Your patronage at these businesses is greatly needed and welcomed.
We invite you to read more about the COVID-19 crisis and review local ordinances as well as state policies in regards to the current pandemic. If you have any questions, please refer to these official government resources.
