Annual Meeting & Installation Banquet on Thursday, September 12.
The Chamber is proud to recognize the accomplishments, successes and contributions throughout the year of our members with our 2024 Annual Business Awards. These businesses make a huge impact in our local economy and play a crucial role in bringing more diversity and character into our growing community. These businesses are just as unique and individual as their owners ~ and cover a variety of industries.
Why Should You Nominate Your Business or Another Deserving Business?
First and foremost, your employees deserve it. Winning an award, or just being nominated, is motivating for your employees and validates their contributions to your company’s success. Awards help show prospective customers or clients that your company is a good one with which to do business. Awards can also provide high visibility by triggering media attention that would normally cost many dollars.
INSTRUCTIONS: Complete the form below for each award nomination you wish to submit. Self-nominations are accepted. Businesses and organizations must be a Chamber member in good standing to be eligible for awards.

This retail business demonstrates exemplary customer service and excellence in its industry. It has a history of success and contributes to the community through the commitment of time and other resources.
Restaurant of the Year
This restaurant demonstrates exemplary customer service and excellence in its industry. It has a history of success and contributes to the community through the commitment of time, talent and resources.
Service Business of the Year
This service business demonstrates excellence in its industry by creating innovative programs and initiatives, which allow it to excel in customer service and support. It has a history of success and contributes to the community through the commitment of time and other resources.
Public Servant of the Year
An individual who holds public office or another public position that has tirelessly devoted their time, experience and efforts in order to promote and improve the quality of life in the community with no regard of personal gain.
Employee of the Year
This award is a badge of honor for the employee of a Member business to recognize their efforts and contributions toward propelling the company’s visions. Notable traits include dedication, reliability, integrity, teamwork, professionalism, and “going the extra mile” for their customers.
Entrepreneur of the Year
This individual demonstrates a high level of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, mentorship, perseverance and creativity. They must own a business or be a principal employee within a business.
Business of the Year
This business has demonstrated growth in its employment, production, and/or operations and has a substantial history of success. It has a positive social and/or economic impact on the Lakewood area. The recipient must have shown outstanding growth, significant achievements in innovation, and superior community involvement through the commitment of time and resources.
