Junk in Your Trunk Seller Guidelines
Thank you for registering for the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce Junk in Your Trunk community garage sale! We are excited to offer this community event and expect a great turnout of sellers and buyers!
SET-UP:
- 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM – All vehicles must be checked in, parked and set up by 9:45 AM ~ no exceptions.
- Sellers must be set up and ready by 9:45 AM – The sale begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.
- If you have someone you want to set up next to, please arrive at the same time so we can park you next to each other. We will not be able to hold spaces.
- Vehicles parked in the sale area must remain until the end of the event at 3:00 PM. No vehicles will be allowed to drive into the sale area after 9:45 AM., with the exception of first responder vehicles.
This event will run rain or shine. There will be no refunds issued for no shows.
SELLERS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sellers are responsible for loading, unloading, and setting up your space. We do not provide tables, chairs, carts, tents or electricity for this event.
- Sellers are responsible for providing their own change bags, pricing of items, and collection of money. Please bring your own change and bags for purchases.
- Any unsold items must be loaded back up and removed from the area by 4:00 PM. There will be a J Dog Junk Removal Truck located on site that will be hauling any items left behind after 4:00 p.m.
Note: If you do not remove all of your items, they will be disposed of by J Dog and you will forfeit your cleaning deposit fee. Please be sure to pick up and clean up after your space.
Items for sale must be appropriate as this is a family-friendly event. We retain the right to ask you to remove items deemed inappropriate, i.e., adult toys, drug paraphernalia, weapons.
We do not allow the sale or distribution of any food or drink, this includes samples.
All items for sale must fit in the allotted parking space(s) provided.
Standard Spot (16′ x 28’) – 2 stalls ($40)
Extra Large Spot (56′ x 16′) – 4 stalls ($70)
Cleaning Deposit Fee ($75 – refundable after event day)
Your space/vehicle must be supervised at all times. The Lakewood Chamber is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items/vehicles.
Our concessionaire will be onsite for you and the public to purchase from.
