Squid Fishing Derby

Enjoy a time limited squid derby with prizes for the winners based on number of squid caught in the time allowed.

• 3rd Place Adult $20 Marina Gift Card

Rules of participation:

• All participants must fish off the Point Defiance Marina Pier. The pier will be only open for this event that night.
• Space is limited so secure your participation in this derby and register advance to assure your involvement.
• Each participant must follow the WDFW laws and regulations and policies of MPT.
• The derby will start at 4 pm and stop at 6 pm through the sound of the horn by the derby host.
• Participants will weigh the total weight of the squid they catch in that 2 hour period only.
• Anglers may not team up their catches but only have what they catch be counted for their weight.
• Attendance at the awards portion of the derby is required to win a prize.
• The derby host may disqualify anglers based on breaking of the above rules, conduct, or safety concerns.

Free.  Space is limited.  Must pre-register at the Marina.
