Manufacturing (MFG) Day 2023 is Oct. 5, and there’s no better way to celebrate and support the sector than at the Pierce County Manufacturing Expo at Clover Park Technical College (CPTC).
The event will be held 1-5 pm at CPTC’s Center for Advanced Manufacturing.
The Expo will offer the opportunity to learn about new frontiers in manufacturing, including automation, robotics, instrumentation and process control, and supply chain logistics equipment. Students, parents and educators can meet with industry representatives and discover how to create, contribute and connect in this growing sector.
The in-person event is presented by the EDB, CPTC, Pierce County Economic Development Department, City of Lakewood, City of Tacoma and Impact Washington.
Manufacturing Day is the industry’s biggest annual opportunity to inspire the next generation, positively shift perceptions about the industry, and build the foundation for the manufacturing workforce of the future.
