Leaving Norway WW II Battleship Bismarck Made a Simple Mistake
The Battleship Bismarck Arrived in Bergen, Norway on 21 May 1941. Upon departing Norway for the Atlantic the Bismarck made a simple mistake. Learn the details of this mistake and how it haunted the Bismarck to the very end. Also, learn what happen to the crew of Bismarck and see explorer Robert Ballard’s recent underwater photo of Bismarck at Lakewood History Museum film presentation, Thursday, 22 May.
Film runs 1 hour and 37 minutes and is free to the public. Doors open 6:30 pm, film shows at 7 pm and includes free popcorn, prize drawing following film. Seating is on a first come basis.
