Discover charming fairy houses, enjoy hands-on activities, and explore a weekend full of delight for all ages. Come wander, play, and find a little more wonder with every step.
Do you believe in fairies? If you’ve ever strolled the grounds of Lakewold Gardens, this question may give you pause. How is it possible—without a little magic or pixie dust—for one place to possess such an abundance of beauty and wonder? If you listen closely, can you hear their giggles in the breeze? Or maybe spot a sign of their playful mischief?
While our horticultural team certainly deserves credit for stewarding the idyllic grounds on the shore of Gravelly Lake, Lakewold Gardens is committed to hosting a weekend each summer to honor the elusive sprites. So don your favorite fairy attire and come ready to play!
As you explore the gardens, you can enjoy a picnic on the lawn, search for hidden fairies among the foliage, and make a tiny fairy door to place in your home garden. Live music and dance performances and a selection of fairy-approved keepsakes for purchase will further enchant your day.
