Chamber Studio Rental Terms of Agreement

Please read the following terms completely before moving on.

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for renting Chamber Studio at the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. By reserving and/or using the studio, the renter agrees to the following:

MAX OCCUPANCY IS 4. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT

1. Eligibility

Chamber Studio is available for use by Chamber Members and Non-Members.
Renters must be 18 years or older or accompanied by a responsible adult.
Renters must attend one orientation session held at the Lakewood Chamber that is offered once a month prior to requesting usage of Chamber Studio.

2. Rental Hours

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

3. Rental Fees & Deposits

Chamber Members receive discounted rates; Non-Members are subject to standard rates.
A refundable damage deposit is required at the time of booking.
Payment is due in full at the time of reservation. Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received.

4. Use of Studio

The studio may be used for podcasts, interviews, video recording, or similar projects.
Signs and branding may be attached only to designated areas using provided wall screws.
The renter is responsible for ensuring that all participants follow Chamber policies.

5. Damage & Liability

Renters are responsible for any damage to equipment, furniture, or the facility during their use.
The Chamber will inspect the studio after each rental. If no damage is found, the deposit will be refunded within 5 business days.
The Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for personal items brought into the studio.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the reservation are non-refundable.
If the Chamber must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

7. Conduct

No food, beverages (other than water), smoking, vaping, or alcohol are permitted in the studio.
Noise levels must be kept reasonable in consideration of Chamber staff and visitors.
The Chamber reserves the right to end a session early if rules are violated, without refund.

8. Media & Content

Renters are fully responsible for the content they create.
Content must comply with all applicable laws and may not include hate speech, obscenity, or illegal activity.

9. Indemnification

By renting Chamber Studio, the renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the space.

REMINDER

All renters of Chamber Studio are required to attend an orientation session that is offered at the Chamber once a month.

You can coordinate with Chamber Member, Philip Lindholm, to make himself available for a half hour for your first shoot to remind you how to do all the set-up

You need to bring three SD Cards for the cameras and a USB-C hard drive for the sound.

The Chamber can refer you to a Member Videographer who can edit your work for a fee.

Session Time & Damage Deposit Disclaimer

All session time booked is non-refundable. Please ensure that you arrive promptly, as missed or unused time cannot be credited or refunded.

A damage deposit is required and applies only to the studio space, including furnishings, walls, tables, and chairs. This deposit is refundable upon inspection of the room after your session, provided no damage has occurred.

PLEASE NOTE: The damage deposit does not cover studio equipment (microphones, cameras, lights, computers, etc.). Clients are strongly encouraged to carry liability insurance to cover any damage or loss of equipment provided as a courtesy during use of the Chamber Studio.
