Jingle Bell Dash

Wear your favorite holiday gear and bring the family down for our Jingle Bell Dash.

Previously known as the Jingle Bell Rock 5K and 1-mile fun run, we’ve scaled back this year’s event to encourage more people to participate.

The half-mile dash starts at Park Lodge Elementary School, 6300 100th Street SW (off Gravelly Lake Drive), and ends at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main Street SW, in the heart of Lakewood Towne Center. This is the same route as the Parade of Lights which happens at 4 p.m.

This is a pet-friendly event — in fact, dress them up and put them in our annual pet costume contest. And why stop there? We’ll be awarding prizes for best costumes for family, individual, bike, stroller and pet.

Strollers and bicycles are allowed and encouraged. Decorate your wheels and bring the whole family!

Arrive at 3:15 p.m. to be in the costume contest. Dash starts at 3:45 p.m. Streets will be closed to vehicle traffic.

After the dash stay to enjoy the Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting festivities. Food trucks, live entertainment, Santa visits and more will be happening at City Hall.

Participation in the Jingle Bell Dash is free, but we’re asking people to please register online.
