Pierce College Fort Steilacoom offers a wide variety of academic, career-training, certificate, associate, and bachelor’s degree programs designed for university transfer, workforce development, and professional advancement. The college offers 26 associate degrees, 52 professional certificates, and six applied bachelor’s degrees.

Founded in 1967, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom is a nationally recognized public community college located in Lakewood, Washington. Originally known as Clover Park Community College, it began in a converted Albertsons grocery store before moving to its current 140+ acre campus overlooking Fort Steilacoom Park and Lake Waughop.

Today, the college serves thousands of students each year with transfer degrees, professional and technical programs, workforce training, continuing education, and bachelor’s degree opportunities. Pierce College offers more than 100 areas of study, helping students prepare for careers or transfer to four-year universities.

The Fort Steilacoom campus features modern classrooms, science and technology labs, healthcare education facilities, athletic programs, student housing, and the renowned Science Dome, the South Sound’s only digital planetarium.
