At Lake City Community Church, you’ll find a multigenerational community of people who are committed to loving God, loving people, and serving the world around us. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, you’re exploring faith for the first time, or you’re returning after a long absence, there’s a place for you here.
We believe life is better when it’s lived in community. Our goal isn’t simply to fill seats on Sunday; it’s to help people build meaningful relationships, grow spiritually, and discover their God-given purpose. Through worship, Bible teaching, small groups, youth and children’s ministries, and opportunities to serve, we help people take their next step in faith.
One thing many people notice about our church is its diversity. Families, singles, young adults, seniors, military families, and people from many cultural backgrounds worship together here. Community members have described the congregation as “every color of the rainbow,” reflecting the diverse community we serve in Lakewood.
You’ll also find a church that believes faith should make a difference beyond Sunday mornings. We seek to serve others the way Jesus served us—through generosity, compassion, discipleship, and outreach to our community.
Most importantly, we want you to encounter Jesus. Everything we do centers on helping people know Him, grow in Him, and share His love with others.
