Celebrate the Holiday Season with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Market Square, 4:30pm, on Friday, Dec. 4, 2026.
Enjoy a festive evening with music, food, children’s activities, and much more. The celebration will feature a special visit from Santa and opportunities for family photos. Kids can enjoy activities inside the Civic Building Atrium, while outdoor festivities include a glowing firepit and live performances filling Market Square with holiday cheer.
The highlight of the evening is the lighting of the community Christmas tree, a beloved tradition in University Place.
