Encounter Creepy and Curious Creatures at Lakewold Gardens’ All Hallows Festival, October 17-18 & 24-25

Beginning October 17, Lakewold Gardens will once again embrace the spooky fun of the Halloween season at its annual All Hallows Festival. Creepy Creatures is the theme for this year’s event scheduled for October 17-18 and 24-25 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guests will wander the eerily lit gardens and search for sculptures of nature’s strange creatures hidden among the trees and foliage. Then they are invited to step into the Wagner House field research station for up-close examination of the creepy creatures through taxidermy, microscopes and a science experiment. Mysterious crafts, activities, treats, prizes and a haunted vendor fair will bewitch and delight curious investigators of all ages. Costumes are strongly encouraged.

Also on display is Lakewold Up Close, a new art exhibit by Lakewold horticulturalist Brianna Phoenix. Through this exhibition, she invites visitors to step closer and see Lakewold from her perspective and notice details that are  often passed by. The collection is both an artistic exploration and an offering of gratitude: a closer look at the often-overlooked pieces of nature that quietly tell the story of Lakewold.

“At All Hallows: Creepy Creatures, we hope visitors can cross over from the ordinary world into one where the garden is a weird, curious, eerie, and uncanny wonderland,” comments Mariah Canton, Lakewold’s director of programs and events. “We want everyone to slow down, look closer, and rediscover the natural world through a new perspective, while also providing a mild Halloween scare.”

Tickets are now on sale at lakewold.ticketspice.com/all-hallows-2026. General admission is $20 for adults and $10 for youth ages 6-17 (children ages 5 and under are free). Admission for Lakewold Gardens members is $10. Tickets will also be available at the admissions desk, but advance purchase is recommended.
