Juanita Lanier

Juanita Lanier is the owner and State Farm Insurance Agent of Juanita Lanier Insurance Agency, Inc., serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Lakewood and Pierce County. A lifelong Lakewood resident, Juanita grew up in the community and graduated from Lakes High School in 2004. She went on to attend Tacoma Community College and graduated from The Evergreen State College with a bachelor’s degree. Juanita began her insurance career as a State Farm team member while in college and, after gaining years of experience in the industry, opened her own State Farm agency in January 2020. Her agency provides personalized insurance services including auto, home, renters, life, health, disability, and small business insurance, with a bilingual team serving customers in both English and Spanish.

Giving back to the community is an important part of Juanita’s commitment to Lakewood. She and her team regularly volunteer their time and provide financial support to local youth, schools, and community organizations. Their involvement includes supporting local high school football and basketball programs, the SWISH basketball program, and the Lakewood Steilacoom DuPont Soccer Club, where Juanita volunteers as a youth soccer coach. She also teaches financial literacy to young people through the Boys & Girls Clubs and Junior Achievement. In recognition of her dedication to both outstanding customer service and community service, the City of Lakewood recognized Juanita Lanier State Farm as its Business Showcase recipient.
